Craig Hickman is a photographer, software designer and university professor. He is a co-founder of Blue Sky Gallery in Portland, Oregon, creator of the Kid Pix art program, and Professor Emeritus of Art at the University of Oregon. He was recently honored as a pioneer who has made a profound impact as part of Apple’s 30th anniversary of the Macintosh.

Portland Art Museum

As part of the Portland Art Museum's Exhibition Blue Sky at 40 I was asked to pick a picture from the museum's collection that was in the exhibition and talk about it. I picked a Garry Winogrand picture. 

Oregon Art Beat

Oregon Public Broadcasting produced a documentary, Darkroom to Digital, that featured Blue Sky along with a range of photographers and organizations that helped define art photography in Oregon. Here's a link to a short clip of me talking about my OXIDE pictures.
